Wednesday Web Roundup for February 9, 2016

Another week, another Wednesday Web Roundup.  We hope you’ve recovered from your Super Bowl hangovers.

First this week, some light reading on everybody’s favorite discussion: College conference realignment.  Apparently, the Big XII is thinking about, well, becoming XII again, up from their current X.  Rumor has it that BYU, Cincinnati, UConn, or the directional Florida schools are the most likely to jump.  Check that out over on The Sporting News.

Second this week, a dandy from the KHL All Star Game skills competition in Moscow.  Unbelievable puckhandling.  For the record, the KHL All Star Game ended up with a final score of 28 to 23.  Hope you took the over.  Here’s the box score (available in Russian only, Google Translate is your best friend here)

Next, a real cool image showing the 16th hole of the Phoenix (err Waste Management) Open from 1996 to 2016. The crowd has grown almost as quickly as the city itself.

And finally, in case you were sick of National Signing Day, a video from your friends at the University of Houston Athletic Department that let’s you know that you’re not alone:

Have a great Wednesday, everyone!
