We’re down to four teams in the NCAA tournament, but the question that still remains is who will win the Eurobracket.
Before we get into that, let me just say that my largely chalk bracket got destroyed. At this point I’m sitting 1 point ahead of Slavo, and if UNC makes the Championship, I will owe him a lunch. I already owe Jens, Euge and Paul a lunch. This is going worse than last year when I won. Thanks, Michigan State!
Thankfully, Euge’s rage bracket is currently sitting in second place (Thanks UNC!), after Jens recovered from a terrible first round showing to claw his way into the top, being the only person with two Final Four teams this year, an accomplishment that few of us in the US have. The race remains between Jens and Euge, as Jens has UNC in the Championship, while Euge has Oklahoma. If both or neither make it, Jens wins. If OU makes it but not UNC, then Euge wins. Nobody will have picked the winner of the whole thing, which isn’t too surprising after Kansas’ exit.
So that’s it. For those keeping score at home, I got beat by 3 (maybe 4) Europeans. Dark ages for Americans overseas. Below are the standings, with only Jens and Slavo able to gain 5 points on UNC, and Euge on OU.
