Week 15 saw average attendance skyrocket to 34,666 from 28,379 across all of Division I, on account of FCS Playoffs making up a larger percentage of the weekly games played. This week we still had a game under 5,000 fans. Let’s take a look at how everyone else fared, shall we?
Worst overall Division I attendance: 4,102 – South Dakota State vs Northern Iowa. The lowest attended FCS Playoff game drew poorly with only 21% of the stadium full. It ended up being a nailbited as visiting UNI took the 13-10 win. Your action shot :

Worst overall FBS attendance: 14,387 – Florida Atlantic vs UAB. Even having the game on campus couldn’t get the FAU Football Stadium half full, as only 14,387 showed up in the 30,000 seat stadium. Maybe those who stayed home knew it wouldn’t be a great game as FAU won 49-6:
Worst overall Power Five attendance: 38,679 – Oregon vs Utah. With only a hair over 50% of the stadium full, the cheapest tickets of any P5 championship game, and hosting at 5 PM in the local time zone on a Friday, the Pac 12 just can’t figure out championship games.
